Aku Rindu Ayah

Assignment berlambak2, tapi tak dapat nak selesaikan, malah tak tahu nak mula dari mana. Mata masih terbuka luas, walaupun jam dah menunjukkan pukul 12 20 am.

Sunyi sangat rasanya malam ni. Rupa2 nya aku rindukan ayah. Sesat+letih+tak de semangat.

Rasa seolah2 aku dah tak berdaya nak buat pape lagi. Tak berdaya nak pikir pape lagi.

Camni rupanya perasaan seorang anak yatim, kehilangan ketua keluarga yang disayangi. Tak sangka akhirnya aku akan merasai keperitan ni.

Semuanya dah berubah. Kami dah kehilangan gelak tawa ibu. Aku ingat lagi, kali terakhir aku mendengar ibu ketawa dengan senikmat2 nya, malam terakhir aku berada di rumah, esoknya aku perlu balik ke KL.

Kami 5 beradik berkumpul di katil ayah dengan ibu, bercerita kenangan silam sambil mengurut kaki ayah. Saat tu aku rasa sangat bahagia, tapi di dalam hati, aku menangis. Aku sangat takut kalau ada pape xdiingini berlaku pada ayah, yang mana akhirnya berlaku jugak.

Aku buntu macam mana nak harungi hidup ni, sangat sukar sebenarnya. Sangat2 payah. Aku bukanlah seorang yang tabah. Aku cuma mampu bertahan selama mana yang aku boleh.

Aku rindukan senyuman ayah, jenaka ayah, suara ayah. Aku rindukan pelukan ayah, ciuman ayah seperti mana minit2 terakhir aku di rumah, seminggu sebelum Raya.

Ayah, apa harus Diah buat ?

Buat pertama kalinya, Aidilfitri dirai tanpa kelibat ayah. Walaupun perit untuk diterima, kami akan cuba harungi hidup tanpa jasad ayah di sisi. Kami akan tabah, demi ibu.

Kami bangga jadi anak ayah, ayah telah didik anak2 ayah dengan baik. Allah bukan menghukum ayah dengan penyakit tu, tapi Allah pilih ayah sebab Allah tahu ayah memang kuat, ayah tak pernah tinggalkan suruhan Nya. Kami tahu ayah terkilan sebab dapat bersama kami kejap saja di bumi ni, kami apatah lagi. Tapi ayah jangan bimbang, selagi kami masih sihat, kami akan hadiahkan ayah dengan bacaan ayat suci Al-Quran dan sembahyang lima waktu.

Rumah teramat sunyi tanpa ayah, tapi ayah sentiasa lekat di hati kami ..

MAYAT BACA SURAH YASIN

Ini adalah cerita benar yang telah diceritakan oleh pelajar-pelajar Malaysia di Arab Saudi.. Peristiwa ini baru saja berlaku dan disahkan benar oleh Ustaz Halim Naser, penceramah bebas yang amat terkemuka di Malaysia. Pada suatu hari di musim haji yang lepas, pelajar Malaysia yang sama-sama menunaikan haji telah mengikut seorang lelaki Arab untuk mengebumikan mayat seseorang yang meninggal dunia pada musim haji. Makam tersebut terletak di Ma'la, tempat pengebumian para jemaah haji yang meninggal dunia di Mekah.

Cara mereka mengebumikan mayat ialah dengan meninggalkan mayat di dalam lubang yang disediakan dan menutupnya untuk kira-kira lapan bulan. Selepas lapan bulan, lubang itu akan dibuka semula untuk mengebumikan mayat yang baru.

Pada hari tersebut, apabila satu lubang dibuka untuk mengebumikan mayat yang baru, lelaki Arab tersebut bertempiaran lari kerana dia melihat mayat sedang bersila, bukan tidur seperti kebiasaannya. Penuntut Malaysia ini memberanikan diri merangkak ke arah kubur tersebut untuk melihat dengan lebih jelas.

Hasilnya dia mendapati memang mayat tersebut sedang bersila dan ianya sedang membaca Al Quran, dan Al Quran tersebut memang yang asli. Selepas dilihat seterusnya. ayat Quran yang terbuka ialah Surah Yasin. Satu lagi perkara ialah mayat tersebut tidak reput dan kain yang membalutinya juga tidak reput. Yang reput hanyalah kapas yang diletakkan di antara mayat dengan kain kapan (kain ehram).

Setelah dibuat kajian, rupa-rupanya mayat tersebut ialah mayat seorang lelaki berbangsa African American yang kerjanya ialah membersihkan Baitullah daripada tumpahan air zam-zam. Kerjanya tiada lain selain daripada membersihkan Baitullah jika ada tumpahan air zam-zam.

Jika tiada tumpahan , dia akan duduk di satu sudut Baitullah dan membaca Surah Yasin. Itulah kelebihanya bagi orang yang berbakti ke jalan Allah...Selepas peristiwa itu, lubang kubur itu pun di patri dan ditandakan agar tiada mayat lagi yang akan dikebumikan di situ.....

I just watched Daughtry's music video called What About Now, and I never thought that this song is all about world peace, I thought it's just another love song to a woman from Daughtry, but I knew now when I saw it. And immediately I shed tears just watching it and listen to the lyric. I tried to put the video here but unfortunately the embedding has been disabled by request. I don't know why they would do that, it's about sending the right message through the video so that we can see better and knew better that we should...no, we MUST be thankful for given this chance to live free, while others with a more unfortunate luck have to breathe in danger.

Finally, exam's over! I can't tell how relieved I am now, no books and notes in front of my face 24/7 anymore. I can relax, do whatever I want, get lots of good night sleep (I looked like a zombie for not having enuf sleep) listening to Adam Lambert's sweet voice (haven't heard of him for a week now).

I miss him. Lol

Thank God the exams went pretty well the past week and this week as well, except for yesterday, which was a big shock for us, or better yet for me. I read another thing, she gave out another thing. Even though I managed to answer half of it right and the other half....well, let's just say I just bull**** , but still not good enough. Haha, it's better than to leave them empty spaces.

And to make matters worst, while we're having exam, the lecturer announced that this exam took 50% marks, rather than 40% like she claimed before. Pretty suck huh? The class went hectic because of it, it's a pretty big marks for the exam, we were hoping it would be 60% carrymarks, 40% exams like the rest of the subjects. Makes it easier for us to score. Sigh, hate this !

But anyway, hope to see good grades coming down soon. Now, I'll just enjoy this one-month break before starting a new semester next couple of months.

For the first time, looking forward for it. I think I'm gonna miss Limkokwing. Oh weird.....

Final Semester, yay !

What do you know, it's been almost 2 years now, and I am in my final semester, as in semester 6. Felt like I was dreaming, cos it seems like just yesterday that I'm in 1st semester, being the new girl and all. Now, still feel like a new girl ! haha

I'm taking 5 subjects like my last semester. Actually, I need to take about 8, but since I've already taken Malaysian Studies (Sejarah), Bahasa Kebangsaan (Bahasa Melayu) and Islamic Studies (Pengajian Islam) at my previous college, so I happily dropped these three. So, no need to add another semester and most importantly, no need to pay more of those course fees, yay !

At today's class, I was suprisingly being elected by majority of the students in my class dang! as a class assistant to a class leader. Sigh, I immediately felt like a struck of lightning through my brain, and rocks falling off from the cliff towards my shoulder. I was so shocked, never in a million years have I ever thought of being the second most important person in the class, especially in this college where majorities of the student are smarter than the lecturer themselves.

But then I thought, there's no way they elected me because they believe in my abilities whatsoever. I know from that moment, they just wanted to avoid the responsibilty, cos they knew by being this person, there's a lot of work that must be done, so they don't have time to play around and hang out. But then, I tried to reassure myself;

Dya..Allah make them choose you for a reason, so don't have to worry too much, just try your best in pleasing the lecturer. At least you got a bit of experience, and it's definitely useful when you're in the real world.

Oh whatever !

Beautiful Saturday Morning

Suddenly thinking of him, on this beautiful Saturday morning. Also thinking of writing something to ease the mind, to take the mind out of him.

Happy birthday him ... the birthday falls on this month actually, but didn't even wish him. Well, didn't have the guts actually. Or is it, didn't want to interfere ..? Cos the last thing I remember, I'm not a part of his life anymore.

Truth be told, when I looked at the picture and saw the face, which I haven't seen for the last five months, I realized how much I miss him. All of a sudden, those nice memories with him quickly flashes back, just to remind me that I used to be a part of his, I used to be his no 1, and I used to be loved by him ..

But then, those painful memories also quickly intervene, just to signaling me that it's okay to let go, cos it's not your fault. You just did something that's good for everyone's sake .. even though it's clearly not good for you.

But then, I learn to forgive, and forget, although I'm not exactly a forget type of person. As long as he's happy, than I'm happy too. At least that's all I care about.

To him that was a dear to me not long ago, I never forget your birthday, and I wish you for the best, hope you finally found your soulmate, or already found, whoever she is ..

Even though I'm not yours anymore, please note that you're always be in my part of life. In fact, you're still stayed lock in this side of heart. I let go off you, but I never let go off our memories ..

Cancer.

The worst disease that could've happened to anyone.

But the last thing that I ever expected to happen in my family.

Well, not anymore.

Apparently, instead of me, He chose my dad to experience it.

Now, not a day goes by that I never pray for his safety and health.

It's been quite a month and yesterday, doctors confirmed his first radiotherapy this Sunday.

Even though the treatment and others after that cost for God knows how many, as long as he can walk, laugh and work again..I'm willing to do everything they requested.

Allah Almighty, I've lost one, please do not let me lose another...

Today I got a very shocking news from my sister, and I felt like I'm going to collapse hearing it.

Dang, Adam lost to Kris ..?

What the fish ?? (bak kate Ali)

Somehing is really wrong with AI audience nowadays.

Unfortunately, the underdog has beaten the best, and there's nothing we can do about it.

But then again, I think, the audience has made a wise choice by letting Kris win, because seriously, majority of the past AI winner hadn't make quite a fortune for their careers. It was like, a curse for the winners, really.

One good example, American Idol season 5 between Taylor Hicks the winner, and Daughtry, the fourth placer. Daughtry was way better than Taylor when the show was on, but then it was Taylor who won.

And now, look who's in the lead? Definitely Daughtry. Also, Season 2 winner, Ruben Studdard and Clay Aiken. Now, Clay is still going strong, but where the hell is Ruben..?

So I am so sure that Adam Lambert can dominate the charts as if he's winning the show. Kris Allen, I don't say that I hate him; it's just that I love Adam even more lol.

And I know he will be better off than holding the AI title because he is going to make a good career on his own, do his favourite thing without anyone stepping on his way, and he can still act all humble while doing it.

I hate it when trying to open Friendster at Limkokwing, cos everytime I did that, it will automatically opened to another profile that I've never seen before, and it's not like I logged in to that profile, I barely do anything, it was just popped up. And even if I logged out, when I tried to logged in, it will do the same thing, that profile will logged in back by itself. It's so annoying. I guess, either the connection to that profile is so strong that my laptop caught it here, or it is a way for Limkokwing to show me that I can't browse any websites for leisure at here.

I miss him ... very much.

He rarely around, especially in class.

Of course we're all busy, but he shouldn't have to neglect his responsibility.

And whenever he's around, we'll argue ... over stupid matters.

Matters that aren't even important.

Things finally changed ... and we're beginning to drifted away.

I missed the way things were ... when we still have the time to crack about each other's jokes, still have the time to hang out and discussing any topics that we want.

But that was then, and this is now.

Can it all be the same like it used to be ... ?
